Can you simplify things?

I have to be honest with you, this week has been a bit of a struggle. There has not been any one thing that has jumped out at me and compelled me to write about it. Typically there is something that stands out, but this week has been a little boring, to be honest. (Which is not necessarily a bad thing!)

Don't get me wrong. We were running all over the place for horseback riding lessons, lacrosse practices and games, and soccer practices and games. In between all of those events we did stop to take a moment to celebrate Mother's Day. So we were busy, but there were no earth-shattering A-ha moments or stories to share... So this time I will simply leave you with a statement that I have been thinking about for most of the week...

"Most people like to complicate things to make themselves feel smart, but smart people like to simplify things."

How much better could the world be if we could stop making things that can be simplified, more complex.

What are you doing today to simplify things for others?
