We did it! Patients are walking through our doors again after nearly 8 weeks of having our office closed due to COVID-19. As if that wasn't enough stress to our systems, many of you should have received an email informing you that we launched a new software system at the same time. Our new software system will allow you to schedule or change appointments from your phone. How cool is that?

The timing of the software change may seem a bit odd. To be totally honest, we have been contemplating this change for over a year. So why would we make that change now? It is simple. This software will (hopefully) make your lives easier, AND make our lives easier.

There is no better time to make improvements than right now.

Think about it for a minute. These changes in our software system are occurring at the perfect time. We have had the last 8 weeks to do all that we can to close out the old system, then transfer the data from the old system to our new system, then begin to set up the new software EXACTLY the way we want it. Admittedly, I struggled a little with the software on the first day of patients, but I needed that to be able to tweak that system a little more. That fine-tuning may never end and that is OK.

I like to think that I am a "glass half-full" kind of guy, but I admit that I struggled during the first week of the pandemic. It threw me for a loop. After I picked myself up, dusted myself off, I began to realize how much of a gift this situation was for us. We, now, had time to rest and recover from the stress of (what was our) normal life. Over the past 8 weeks, we had time that we never had before. Time to close out our old software. Time to learn new skills. Time to spend with our children. Time to make home improvements. Time to fine-tune the new system. Time to step back and look at our lives and make sure that we are living the life that we want to live!

REMEMBER THAT YOU CAN ALWAYS MAKE MORE MONEY, BUT YOU CAN NEVER MAKE MORE TIME.

WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING WITH THIS TIME?
